One day, someone told me: «Chloe, you are a caregiver». I did not know this. I was simply performing an ordinary act for someone I loved. These tasks turned into a heavy burden in the 17 years during which I was caring for my beloved Gilles Carle. Caregivers need respite, otherwise they will become exhausted. It has now become a very urgent need. This is what the BMCSG offers. I am delighted to be the spokesperson for this organization, the mission speaks for it’s self and I am pleased to continue with a project that Gilles and myself initiated: la Maison Gilles-Carle. - Chloé Sainte-Marie

The Brome-Missisquoi organization grouping caregivers known as Regroupement Soutien aux Aidants de Brome-Missisquoi or RSABM offers its services to people caring for a family member suffering from temporary or permanent disability caused by an illness, a handicap, an accident or simply due to old age. A caregiver is often a member of the family or a good friend that offers care and support
to the loved one. A home care support service is provided by trained volunteers.

The BMCSG staff is always ready to offer you support and greet you so that your questions can be answered through our individual counselling sessions. We can also help you become familiar with our resources/documentation bank [...]
